What is Swarmio?
Swarmio is a hosted agent harness. You do not pick a framework, a model, or a scraping stack; that is the part we host.
What is a hosted harness?
A harness is everything wrapped around a model to make it finish real work: task planning, tool use, a browser that survives bot checks, retries, budget limits, and citation handling. Today you assemble that yourself out of a framework, a model provider, a scraper, and a lot of glue — and then maintain all of it. A hosted harness is those decisions already made, already tuned, and reachable at one endpoint.
Can I call deep research from my own code?
Yes, and that is the point. The major deep-research products are chat features with no API an agent can call. Swarmio's is an endpoint: POST a question, stream the run, get a cited report back as JSON or Markdown. Same capability from the web app, REST, MCP, or A2A.
How is this different from LangChain, CrewAI, or an agent SDK?
Those are kits for building a harness. Swarmio is a harness that already runs. There is nothing to install, no orchestration graph to design, no model to select, no browser fleet to keep alive, and no bill from four vendors — one request, one metered charge, one cited report.

Yes — that is a first-class path, not an afterthought. An agent reads /llms.txt, signs up, mints an sk_swarm_ API key, launches runs over REST or MCP, and pays for its own credits with the x402 protocol or a plain USDC transfer on Base. No human anywhere in the loop.
What do I get at the end of a run?
A cited report with its sources, downloadable artifacts, and a public link you can share — plus optional extras like a hosted web page or a short podcast brief of the findings.
